The imcv was launched in September 2020 following an agreement between the three Galician universities and the University of Puerto. The teaching, all in English, is given in person and by video-conference.
This Master’s Degree is aimed at acquiring skills in a field of knowledge with applicability in many sectors: health (medical imaging, diagnosis), security (video surveillance, biometrics), industrial processes (monitoring, quality control), robotics (industry, assistance), content cataloging (audiovisual, metadata), etc.
In addition to the classical techniques of Computer Vision, deep learning techniques strongly linked to Artificial Intelligence are studied and practiced. Graduates in Telecommunication Technology Engineering will have no difficulty in taking this Master’s Degree, acquiring a training complement that opens doors to jobs in areas that are not directly linked to telecommunications but have a great potential for growth.
