The Doctoral Degree in Math and Apps is offered by the University without Borders (UNISF). This cross-border proposal is born from the collaboration between the six public universities in the Galicia-Northern Portugal Euroregion and the Centre for Euroregional Studies Foundation (FCEER).

The universities taking part in the public university network of the Euroregion are: the University of Coruña (UDC), the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC), the University of Vigo (UVigo), the University of Minho (UMinho), the University of Porto (U. Porto) and the University of Trás-os-montes and Alto Douro (UTAD).

The docotorate in Math and Apps provides training in the field of Mathematics and its applications. It is oriented for both the academic career and the labour market. The students will acquire specific skills in maths like: method development, languages and theoretical and/or computational tools for solving problems, deepening into general methods and an autonomous approach to math problems, modelling and innovative solving of scientific phenomena.

The cross-border cooperation, favoured by cultural affinity, combines the scientific knowledge of several institutions and prestigious research centres in Galicia and Northern Portugal. This builds a strong and reflexive cluster of researchers and teachers internationally renowned in the different fields of Mathematics and its applications.
