Faculty of the School promotes Gradiant, the ICT Technology Center for R&D

Celebrando o V aniversario de Gradiant

Gradiant was promoted by Fernando Pérez González, Carlos Mosquera Nartallo and Javier González Castaño, EET professors in 2003. After a viability analysis for the R&D General Direction of the Xunta de Galicia, the center was finally established on December 13, 2007.

In its early years, Gradiant was headquartered at the School. The initial Management Committee was formed by Luis Álvarez Sestelo -manager-, Javier González Castaño -director of the Networks and Applications area-, Carlos Mosquera -director of the Communications area- and Fernando Pérez González -general manager-. In 2010 Gradiant moved to Citexvi (Technological City of Vigo), where it remained until September 2021.
