The Bioengineering and Chronobiology group of the EET organized the conference, which at the time of writing this milestone, was held in Spain only once. More than 200 congress participants from 5 continents participated. The scientific sessions took place in the facilities of the School itself, in the campus of Las Lagunas-Marcosende.
The fact that the University of Vigo was chosen as the venue for the conference, as well as the success obtained at the conference, served to consolidate the great international prestige of the Bioengineering group and, by extension, of EET.
