In 2023 starts the course of TelecoConnection and it is full of related activities:
- Prizes to the best three incoming academic records for the Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunication Technologies Engineering in the year 2022/23.
Thanks to three supporting companies of TelecoConnection (Optare Solutions, Centum R&T and BorgWarner), three students were awarded with 2.000 € each at an event held on 7th March 2023 in the EET.
The newspaper Faro de Vigo talked about this and gathered the opinion of the awarded students.

In the LPRO Days projects conducted by groups of five or six four-year students of the Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunication Technologies Engineering are exhibited. This day of showing and competition has two well-differentiated halves: a morning exhibition for pre-universitary students and a evening exhibition for companies and the general public. Thanks to the support of five companies of TelecoConnection (Marine Instruments, Optare Solutions, Quobis, Gradiant and CTAG) the five best projects were awarded.

Thanks to three supporting companies of TelecoConnection (Indra, BorgWarner and Televés) the kits for the highschool and vocational training groups were acquired. Moreover, these three companies sponsored the prizes of the different categories:
- Indra: three prizes for highschool groups.
- BorgWarner: three prizes for vocational training groups.
- Televés: three prizes for individual pre-universitary students.
In addition, many newspapers talked about this piece of news (El Progreso, Faro de Vigo, Atlántico Diario, Metropolitano and, again, Faro de Vigo).

Thanks to Marine Instruments, from the TelecoConnection network, a team of EET students worked in the wireless communication of sensor data from isolated nodes.

- Graduation of the tenth class of the Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunication Technologies Engineering (GETT)/Bachelor Degree in Telecommunication Technologies Engineering (BTTE) and the eighth class of the Master’s Degree in Telecommunication Engineering (MET)
The students of both degrees enjoyed the event with their classmates. Moreover, thanks to Centum R&T, they could also have an afternoon snack with their families and, thanks to Indra, they were given the most special gift: a sweatshirt with an illustration designed by Davila specially for the EET.

- integraTE program
During the first week of the course, students had the opportunity to participate in the first three activities of the integraTE program sponsored by the Indra-UVigo Chair in Engineering and Technology.
- Laboratory Equipment Provision
The Indra-UVigo Chair in Engineering and Technology collaborates in providing computer equipment for the center’s laboratories.
- Talk on Radar and Electronic Warfare
On October 19th, an exceptional conference on cutting-edge technology in the field of Radar Systems and Electronic Warfare (EW) took place at the School of Telecommunication Engineering (EET) by Indra.
- Hybrid meeting of the TelecoConnection Patron network
On November 28th, we held a hybrid meeting of the TelecoConnection Patron network in order to assess 2023 actions and to keep on working on those to be carried out in 2024
