The Academic Committee will validate that students have accredited competencies of the degree and the fulfillment of part of its objectives in the terms defined in the EHEA.

The responsible center will establish equivalence tables between studies completed at other universities and those that may be recognized in the curriculum. This table will specify the credits that are recognized and, if applicable, the equivalent subjects, topics, or modules. Likewise, equivalence tables will be established between degrees corresponding to regulations prior to R.D. 822/2021.

Equivalent recognition may be declared directly or through agreements, for foreign degrees that grant access to official degrees of the Galician University System (SUG), or establish, in those agreements, the recognition of part of foreign studies. The Academic Committee will adequately publicize these agreements.

Students will be informed of the recognized credits and the subjects or topics to which they correspond, if applicable, as well as the number of credits needed and the subjects or topics that remain for obtaining the degree.

Recognition will be initiated upon request, except as provided in the applicable regulations, at the center where the student is going to initiate or continue the studies for which credits are to be recognized, by submitting a request addressed to the director of the center.

Regarding credit transfer, all credits obtained in official studies pursued at the SUG or another university in the EHEA will be incorporated into the student’s record, upon request to the center’s management. The request will be resolved in accordance with the current regulations of the university responsible for the degree.

Up to 7.5 credits of Master’s subjects, including those of Internships in Companies, may be recognized based on work and professional experience provided that the applicant has worked at least as a Technical Engineer or Diploma Holder or Graduate in the field of IoT.

This experience must be adequately documented by submitting the corresponding contract or agreement and the relevant proof (e.g., through certifications) demonstrating that the work/professional experience is related to the field of IoT. The Interuniversity Academic Committee will verify the suitability of the submitted evidence, requesting validation of the request from the teaching staff of the subjects for which recognition of work/professional experience is sought, when appropriate.

The Interuniversity Academic Committee will recognize credits in modules of 2.5 ECTS. 2.5 ECTS will be recognized for every six months of professional experience, with a maximum cumulative of 7.5 ECTS.
