Graduation of the 12th class of GETT/BTTE students, the 10th class of MET, and the 5th class of MUniCS

On Friday, June 13, we celebrated at the School of Telecommunication Engineering (EET) the graduation ceremony of 83 students belonging to:

  • 12th Class of the Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunication Technologies Engineering (GETT) and 4th Class of the Bachelor Degree in Telecommunication Technologies Engineering (BTTE),
  • 10th Class of the Master’s Degree in Telecommunication Engineering (MET), and
  • 5th Class of the Interuniversity Master’s Degree in Cybersecurity (MUniCS).

Congratulations on your hard work! We couldn’t be prouder of each and every one of you and are delighted to have shared this stage of your education. Now it’s time to see you move on toward a future that, we are sure, will be full of opportunities that you will know how to seize.

  • The student representatives: Mr. Andrés Saavedra Belirón (GETT) and Ms. María Boado Mallón and Mr. David Sueiro Durán (MET).

The event also included a fascinating keynote lecture by guest speaker Professor Michael Luck, from the University of Sussex, who discussed the importance of security and reliability in the adoption of artificial intelligence.

We also wish to thank everyone who joined us to celebrate this very special occasion.

Many thanks to the two Conexión Teleco companies that sponsored this event (Indra and BorgWarner). In the photos, our students look very elegant wearing the sweatshirt we gave them as a gift — a small token to keep us close to their hearts. The sweatshirt was designed by Luis Davila and sponsored by Indra, which also co-sponsored the refreshments we enjoyed at the end of the ceremony.
