This conference provides an overview of the most innovative Radar and electronic warfare (EW) technologies developed by Indra for the new F110 frigates. It focuses on RF development and FPGA development within these systems, offering attendees the opportunity to learn about how a renowned company like Indra operates and to familiarize themselves with the cutting-edge technologies and tools used in this field.
The presentation is geared towards undergraduate and master’s students in telecommunications and industrial electronics who are interested in the design and development of digital and RF electronic systems.
Javier Montero De Paz holds a PhD in Telecommunication Engineering from UC3M, with 8 years of experience working at Indra in the design of RF modules for EW and Radar systems. He currently leads the RF, Microwave, and Antenna group within the Airborne Business Unit.
Marco Gómez Dá Veiga is a Telecommunication Engineer specialized in Electronics from UPM. With 17 years of experience in the design and implementation of digital electronics for ECM and AESA Radar systems, he currently leads the Programmable Electronics Group for signal generation and processing of active systems in naval and land programs.
José Manuel Villapún Sánchez is an Electronics Systems Engineer from UPV and UDC, with 10 years of experience working at Indra in FPGA design and development for electronic warfare (EW) and Radar systems. He currently leads the FPGA design group at Indra’s Vigo office.
