“Credit recognition” is understood as the acceptance of ECTS credits by an university. Those credits that must have been obtained in official education, in the same or another university, are computed in other universities for the purpose of obtaining an official degree. ECTS credits may also be earned for participating in cultural, sport, student representation, solidarity and cooperation university activities, for knowledge of languages, for non-university studies, for specialisation degrees and for work and professional experience.

At the EET you can also earn elective credits for your participation in cross-cutting training activities within our orientaTE programme.

In the Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunication Technologies Engineering, under RD 822/2021, a maximum of 6 elective credits can be recognised for carrying out university cultural, sports, student representation, solidarity and cooperation activities.

Concerning the recognition of elective credits for university activities, please consult our orientaTE program, where your participation in cross-cutting EET training activities is recognised.

Recognition of courses between different official degrees.
For work and professional experience, degrees and external extracurricular internships

Credits completed in official Spanish university studies or in other official university studies offered by a higher education institution officially recognized in its country may be subject to recognition.

These procedures may apply to the full set of basic training credits when transferring between degrees within the same field of knowledge.

In bachelor’s degrees, basic training credits from different fields of knowledge, as well as compulsory credits and optional credits from subjects within the same or a different field of knowledge, may be recognized as credits for other subjects in the curriculum, taking into account academic and educational coherence.

As a general rule, for the recognition of credits, the alignment of learning outcomes will be taken into consideration, paying attention to the academic and formative coherence of knowledge, competencies, and skills that define the subjects or disciplines to be recognized in the original degree with those existing in the curriculum of the destination degree.

In no case, the course corresponding to the Final Degree Project (TFG) will be recognised, except for those specifically completed as part of a mobility program.
