On February 5, 2025, the School of Telecommunication Engineering (EET) participated in the University Orientation Day (XOU), where more than 1,000 students from high schools in Vigo and its surrounding areas visited the Vigo campus.
The goal of the Vice-Rectorate for Student Affairs and Employability with this initiative is to showcase UVigo’s academic offerings to pre-university students and provide them with the necessary information to make one of the most important decisions of their lives: choosing a degree after passing the ABAU.

With the help of several students (Lucía Castrillo, Hugo Mera), members of the EET Student Delegation, and Javier Dávila and Diego Asorey from the company Kendra, we aimed to introduce Telecommunication Engineering to all the students who visited us.
