Winners in the national phase of the Teleco Olympics: 3 teams and 1 individual participant from Teleco-Vigo

Three of the national team awards and one of the individual awards went to participants from Teleco-Vigo.

On June 14, 2024, the online awards ceremony for the national phase of the Olympics was held. The event was organized by the Official College of Technical Telecommunications Engineers (COITT) and the Spanish Association of Graduates and Technical Telecommunications Engineers (AEGITT), along with the Conference of Directors of Schools with Degrees in the Field of Telecommunications Engineering (CODIGAT), which includes around twenty sponsoring and collaborating university schools.

Three of the 12 teams, and one of the four participants in the individual category awarded in this final phase, were from Galicia and had qualified in the local phase hosted by the EET.

  • In the ESO Teams Category::
    • Award for ‘Proposal Most Aligned with SDG 3’ (3rd prize: 300 euros to be shared among team members) for the team from Colegio de Fomento Montecastelo (Vigo): Nicolás Costas Fernández, Guillermo Alonso Caraballo, Federico Andrés de Marco, Jacobo Fructuoso Veiga. Teacher: Bernardo Longa Méndez.
  • In the High School Teams Category:
    • Premio a la ‘Mejor propuesta técnica’ (1º premio: 500 euros a repartir entre los miembros del equipo y 500 euros para la profesora) para el equipo del IES Isaac Díaz Pardo (A Coruña): Inés Abuín Sánchez, Martín Santos García, Elías Porral del Río, Uxía Bernárdez Martínez, Iago Fernández Gómez, Daniel Martínez Hermida.
