Within the integraTe program, sponsored by the Indra Chair, on Wednesday, October 22 at 1:00 pm, we will have in the auditorium the second talk of the “Café & …” cycle this time focused on the uses of the GaN transistors. This talk is designed for students with curiosity to know how the systems that allow technologies such as radar or electronic war work. An introduction to the role of GaN transistors in the design of RF advanced systems will be provided. We will see how these devices are developed, how they are integrated into power amplifiers and how they apply in real systems developed by Indra Vigo. In addition, the impact of the future chip factory in Vigo will be discussed and how the galician technology ecosystem and the professional opportunities of the sector can transform. This talk will be given by Rocio Moure, Technological Expert, from Indra.
