Starting in the 2024-2025 academic year, the School expands its degree offerings with a Successive Path Academic Program (PARS) in Master’s in Telecommunications Engineering, via the Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications Technology Engineering.
The PARS is not a new degree but provides specific curricular pathways that allow students to pursue both pre-existing official degrees partially simultaneously, ultimately obtaining both titles upon completion of their studies.
Both degrees retain their distinct and independent structures; meaning the same courses, mentions in the bachelor’s degree, specializations in the master’s degree, and completion requirements remain unchanged for both degrees when pursued separately.
In simpler terms, if you are interested in complementing your Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications Technology Engineering (qualifying for the profession of Telecommunications Technical Engineer) with the Master’s Degree in Telecommunications Engineering (qualifying for the profession of Telecommunications Engineer), the PARS facilitates the transition between both degrees.
You will have more flexibility to take courses from both study plans and can simultaneously work on the Final Bachelor’s Project (TFG) and the Final Master’s Project (TFM):
- You can enroll in the Master’s Degree in Telecommunications Engineering while still having 30 ECTS remaining to complete the Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications Technology Engineering (TFG plus 3 other courses).
- Although TFG and TFM must be separate projects, they can be carried out in an integrated manner, ensuring continuity in the development process.
